(there are a few systems that are also doing what Mine is doing but I can't determine why - their systems are older - rest don't have the issue) I have to change mine to presentation to see 300dpi. My system shows 150 dpi while others at the same point will show 300dpi

the 1050C drivers are all from a central print server so they should all be the same. Older installs = systems that have 2012  2014 typicallyĭrivers for the printers are all 64bit and from I can tell all are the exact same but will have to verify by looking at each system individually. To be honest, I'm not sure why it would be different, but I think it's a setting put there by the drawing and not anything to do with the plotter configurations so it's probably not anything to worry about. Keep in mind that this is not really the resolution of the plot. Model space, Paper space with viewports that are rendering in a wireframe or 2D view won't care what this setting is because they don't have any viewports containing shaded surfaces. This setting is for viewports that contain shading, meaning a 3D rendering in Solid mode or something, which your drawings probably don't have.

driver is all i can see and its not an issue at all when I test it.Īs per the first post, the DPI shown in the "Shaded viewport options" is grayed out. Problem solved? Perhaps it was a bad drawing file to begin with, or you've already changed a setting that fixed it so now they can't reproduce the poor quality plots?Ĭurrently he and our CAD mgr are wanting to know where the 150/300 dpi issue coming from. The manager that brought up the issue has yet to give me an example a dwg that actually has an issue.

#WHY IS SOME HATCH NOT SHOWING IN AUTOCAD PRINTING INSTALL#

Setup my system with a brand new install of both INDSP 14  the plotter in question and found the same issue 150 dpi > if I want it to do 300 change the quality to presentationīut why is the default now different from older installs? Other printers normal = 300 and doesn't change when going to presentation. Really from 150/300 I woudn't think that is the only issue but Until I can prove it otherwise the only known difference is the dpi setting.Īnd this from another system (probably similar age - think the print driver might be only difference) Net effect is printing is coming out with jagged lines instead of smoothed curves apparently. While newer installs are showing 300 dpi using the exact same driver. Users with older installs (although service packed to current) are showing default 300 dpi. Have lots of setting in the driver but have an odd issue and not sure where the issue is tied just yet. Have updated some printer drivers (over a year ago)
